Adware Alert is a very comprehensive Spyware removal tool, in that it allows you to scan as many of your files as you like. So if you don't want to scan your "Work" hard drive, for example, you can simply tell it not to.
What you do set the program to scan, it does very well with a comprehensive and fast scanning engine. It removes almost all infections and does it in a very respectable time. It even scans running programs for signs of infections!
On our test machine, we found Adware Alert removed a lot of threats which other Spyware removers just didn't find. That is why we believe it is a great investment.

Ease Of Use
Adware Alert's ease of use is also very good. It uses a "tabbed" system at the top of the window to give you easy access to all the important components quickly as well as providing you with a simple "step-by-step" system. This makes the software extremely easy to set up and use, so you don't have to be a "geek" to use it.
Adware Alert will also only perform tasks on a permission basis, meaning that if it finds infections, it will ask you before deleting them forever. This is great because it gives you an overview of what is on your system and whether you should remove them or not.
