Scanning Ability
Spyware Remover is a very comprehensive Spyware removal tool, in that it allows you to scan as many of your files as you like. If you don't want to scan your "Work" hard drive, for example, you can simply tell it not to. The program has in-built settings for this, which include: scanning "My Computer", just the "C" drive, etc.
What you do set the program to scan, it does very well with a comprehensive and fast scanning engine. It removes almost all infections and does it in a very respectable time. It even scans running programs for signs of infections! It does this in a pretty long time, which leads us to believe that the coding behind the program is not as streamlined as it could be.
After scanning our entire test machine, Spyware Remover did pick up a lot of infections which some other programs couldn't find. It did take about 30 minutes to scan which was a little on the long side.

Spyware Remover's user interface is very vibrant and displays all the information you need each step of the way. It's very user friendly to the degree that you will likely want to keep using it.
It gives you a toolbar type setup, which means that there is permanently a set of buttons on the left hand side of the screen which point to important components. This is a good feature because it means you are always not many clicks away from what you need.
